Abstract:

This research has been carried out within the framework of researchers who are hierarchically underlying in the academic staff of universities with the aim of studying the factors affecting the organizational toxicity phenomenon that can be encountered in every field of the business world. The factors that cause organizational toxicity are mainly classified by the Method of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) in a hierarchic manner, in a total of 12 factors, including three main factors, from the manager, the colleagues and the institution, and four sub-factors under each main factor. According to the relevant sample of the research, the important factor that causes organizational toxicity is the managing factor in the context; the sub-factor in the context has been the institution's culture and the non-ethical behavior in the context of the managing body. According to the findings, various recommendations have been made to prevent or reduce organizational toxicity that adversely affects the overall climate and performance levels.
