Abstract:

The first thing to do in order to ensure maximum efficiency in education is to hire the teacher with the necessary qualification and try to get the highest yield from him. The country needs, equipped in the field of primary and secondary educational institutions, artistic personality advanced, self-confident and contemporary art educators in order to educate and teach the beautiful art educational departments that are open to education and teaching the students who graduate from the fields of painting-work teaching maternity, through art education play the greatest role in achieving the multi-faceted educated human type that education provides. Therefore, it is important to employ a sufficient number of teachers in the field of painting-work teaching. In this context, the purpose of this research is to evaluate the subject of teacher employment in Turkey from the eyes of the teacher candidates for painting-work teaching. The research was conducted by Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University and 63 teachers candidates who studied in the Faculty of Education of the Faculty of Fine Arts Education Department of Painting-Business Teaching Department of Anatomy. In the collection of research-related data, the teacher candidate personal information form developed by researchers and the semi-structured Employment Opinion Form (IGF) were used. Qualitative data obtained during the research were analyzed using content analysis techniques. According to the study, the department preferred to be a teacher by entering the Public Staff Selection Exam (KPSS) primarily in terms of employment conditions. In visual arts teacher employment shows the result of the assessment of the field knowledge and abilities that the teacher candidates receive during their training are in the forefront. Based on the findings obtained, the opinions and recommendations of the teacher candidates on employment issues were discussed.
