Abstract:

The evaluation of students’ views on the quality of school life is believed to be a guide in the issues of improving and ensuring the quality of school education, but it is believed to be a focus on improving the quality of education. In this context, it is aimed at developing a valid and reliable measurement tool for the quality of school life for students studying in the primary education (first-second-school) stage. Research data have been obtained from 6700 students in the province of Malta, 2019-2020 educational-learning year in primary and secondary school. In the framework of validity studies, the analysis of the detection and verification factors was carried out, and the substance-test coleration ratio was also studied. Cronbach Alpha’s internal consistency and test-up test ratings are calculated in relation to reliability studies. The scale has a structure consisting of three dimensions and fifteen substances, and the factor burden of the substances in the scale is estimated between "533" and "816". The measurement is estimated to be 64,887 percent of the total variance indication rate. The three-factor structure of the scale was then tested with verifying factor analysis. The verifying factor analysis indicated that the conformity index values (CMIN=451.298, df=82, RMSEA=0.038, GFI=0.980, AGFI=0.97, CFI=0.99, NFI=0.98, IFI=0.99, RMR=0.025) were structural validity. According to the analysis of reliability studies, the internal consistency ratio of the Cronbach Alpha scale is calculated as ".921". The test-re-test reliability ratio (.827), which was performed through the data obtained from 300 students between three weeks and three weeks, showed that the scale was consistent with time. The results of the analyses show that the School Happiness-Life (OMY) scale is a valid and reliable scale.
