Abstract:

The data produced today, when the smart devices and especially the internet have become very popular, has increased significantly compared to the past. It is not possible to analyze these data masses and obtain meaningful results from the analyses carried out with the classic data processing methods. This situation revealed the big data concept and big data analysis. Because it facilitates the analysis of very large amounts of data, big data analysis provides great benefits to and organizations. Companies that benefit from big data, compared to others, come to a profitable position both in terms of time and economic. This increases the importance of big data concept and analysis. Therefore, in this study, the concept of big data and big data analysis were detailed and the areas of application of big data were explained. Before the study, big data components were explained. Then, the big data analysis, along with its advantages and disadvantages, has been discussed on the big data processing platforms. Then data collection and data diversity were processed and finally the big data was used in the sectors, applications and result section.
