In Turkey, local press in terms of social, political, economic and cultural aspects has always informed people living in different places in the country. Nevertheless, the development of Turkish press had been slow and troublesome, and . in Aydın, too, the first newspaper could be published in }ust the second era of Constitutional Monarchy. Local publication that had been damaged during the Greek invasion, had a chance to renovate itself in 1930 s. In Aydın where lots of magazines and newspapers published untill 1946, were affected negatively on account of such factors like economic problems, low percentage in literacy, out of reach in desired press circulation.
