Abstract:

This research was conducted with the aim of studying the level of communication skills of the students of the High School of Physical Education and Sports. The research universe 2017-2018 educational year was formed by the University of Bartin's College of Physical Education and Sports High School students. Example group is the University of Bartin Physical Education and Sports High School 1, 2, 3 and 4. The total of students in the class includes 182 women and 311 men. The results of the research were collected with the "Communication Skills Assessment Scale" (ICD) developed by Korkut (1997) and the "Personal Information Form" prepared for the purpose of determining the demographic characteristics of students. The SPSS 23 is available. 0 package in the program. To evaluate the data, T-test, Kruskal Wallis-H, Tukey and ANOVA statistical analysis methods have been applied. The findings of the study have shown that the students of the University of Bartin body education and sports high school have high communication skills. There are no significant differences in terms of gender, class, section, socio-economic levels, while in terms of age variation, 17-19-year-old students have a significantly higher communication skills than 20-22-year-old students. As a result, the level of evaluation of participants’ communication skills varies according to various variables and it can be said that the high average score values have a positive impact.
