19. yüzyılın en önemli düşünürlerinden biri olan W. Dilthey (1883-1911) bütün felsefesini “anlama” kavramı üzerine inşa etmiştir. Üç bölümden oluşan çalışmamızın ilk bölümünde Dilthey’in yaptığı ayrımla, doğa bilimlerinin açıklamaya dayalı yönteminin yetersizliğine karşın, kendisinin tin bilimlerinin yöntemi olarak belirlediği anlamaya dayanan yöntemin ne olduğu üzerinde durulacaktır. İkinci bölümünde anlama kavramı, Dilthey’in yaşam felsefesi, zaman kavrayışı, yaşam ifadeleri ve temel anlama çerçevesinde incelenecektir. Çalışmamızın üçüncü ve son bölümünde ise, yüksek anlama ve hermeneutiğin Dilthey’de ne anlama geldiği açıklanmaya çalışılacaktır.
W. Dilthey (1883-1911), one of the most important thinkers of the 19th century, built his entire philosophy on the concept of "understanding". In the first part of our three-sections study, Dilthey’s distinction will focus on what the method of understanding is based on the fact that, despite the lack of the method of the natural sciences based on the explanation, it is the method of understanding that he defines as the method of the tin sciences. In the second part, the concept of understanding will be studied within Dilthey’s life philosophy, the concept of time, life expressions, and the fundamental understanding. In the third and last part of our study, we will try to explain what high meaning and hermeneutics means in Dilthey.
