Abstract:

The fishesir and its surroundings, located in the first-degree earthquake generation, have been exposed to many earthquakes in the previous periods, as it is today. In the light of the archive documents and the information obtained from the period's newspapers in the region XIX. In the second half of the century, there was a thirty-fold main shock. Some of them have been seriously affected, resulting in dead losses and a large amount of injuries. The catastrophe management showed after the earthquakes that caused destruction has given great importance in terms of covering the wounds of the earthquakes. This article is aimed at contributing to both the history of the fisheries and the history of the Ottoman natural disasters. Additionally, the number of historical earthquakes identified using first-hand sources are important in terms of the region’s earthquake and earthquakes are expected to be a source for scientists.
