Abstract:

Abstract 68 students events were the movement that influenced all the countries of the world starting from Paris in 1968, which became then the symbol of many generations and movements in world history. The main basis of the movement area of this generation, which is attached to names like ‘’Flower Children ‘’ or the 47’ s ( who was born in 1947) , has set out as an effort for a better world. Although the 68 events in the USA and Western Europe were mostly social and cultural, this process was more political in the third world countries. In the third world countries, 68 events were carried out in the framework of opposing imperialism and the West and advocating socialism. In this respect, it allowed Marxism to become widespread again on the world agenda. The aim of this study is to investigate the reflections of 68 student events in the Turkish press by examining the dimensions related to education and certify it.
