Bu görüntü yönetmenliğinin ne olduğunu anlamak çok önemli. Çünkü sinemasının filmlerin özü görüntüler bunu aslında Güneş’e Lamba Yakan Adam’da Atilla Dorsay çok güzel ifade etmiş. Bu işin hem tekniğini hem de içeriğini hem Türkiye’deki yolculuğunu biraz konuşalım istiyoruz. Bir taraftan da tabi kitabı konuşalım istiyoruz. Çünkü sinema ile ilgili özellikle görüntü yönetmenliğiyle ilgili Türkiye’de nerdeyse hiç kitap yok. Bu anlamda da Güneş’e Lamba Yakan Adam ilk aslında bir ilk kitap olma özelliği taşıyor. Buradan Barış Saydam’a da teşekkür ediyoruz. Çünkü kitaplar bizim için önemli, filmleri izleyeceğiz t yanı sıra konuşacağız ve özellikle okuyacağız. Çünkü sinema öğrencilerini böyle bir görev de bekliyor. Bir de kendi sinemamızı konuşmamız gerekiyor. Tabii dünya sineması da çok kıymetli. Sinema dijital çağla birlikte farklı bir yere evriliyor ama Türk sinemasında da çok önemli işler yapılıyor, kıymetli genç yönetmenlerimiz var. Sabah izlediğiniz Biri ve Diğerleri 1987, Tunç Başaran) filminden söz ederken bir öğrencimiz 1987 yılında Yeşilçam’da bu kadar gelişkin bir film diline sahip olan bir filmle karşılaşmaktan duyduğu şaşkınlığı dile getirdi. Sinemada 50’lerden başlayarak yani sinemacılar dönemiyle birlikte çok başka işler yapılıyordu. Biz bunları çok az konuşuyoruz, daha çok konuşmamız gerekiyor.
