Abstract:

In this study, the relationship between lower secondary school teachers’ positive psychological capital, perceptions of managerial supportand organizational citizenship behaviors was examined. This research is a quantitative research and is in the relational screening model. The data of the study were obtained by measuring tools applied to 277 teachers working in public lower secondary schools in Alanya district. Personal information form, organizational citizenship behavior scale, positive psychological capital scale and managerial support perception scale were used as data collection tools. The data of the research were analyzed with simple linear correlation technique and stepwise multiple regression technique. According to the results of the correlation analysis, organizational citizenship behaviors exhibited by secondary school teachers are positively correlated with the levels of kindness, conscientiousness, altruism, sportsmanship and civic virtue dimensions, and between the levels of positive psychological capital, hope, resilience, optimism and self-efficacy, and between the levels of perception of managerial support. A relationship has been identified.
