Sporcuların Yeni Tip Koronavirüse (covid-19) Yakalanma Kaygısının İncelenmesi

Toplumun her kesiminde olduğu gibi spor camiası içinde de yeni tip koronavirüs vakalarının görülmesi, sporcuların yeni tip koronavirüse yakalanma kaygısını arttırabilir. Buna göre çalışmanın amacı farklı branştaki sporcularının yeni tip koronavirüse yakalanma kaygısının incelenmesidir. Nicel modeldeki araştırmaya farklı spor branşlarından 424 sporcu (222 kadın, 202 erkek) gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Araştırmada Demir ve Cicioğlu ve İlhan (2020)’ın geliştirildiği Sporcuların Yeni Tip Koronavirüse Yakalanma Kaygısı Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Spearman korelasyon analizi ve Mann-Whitney U Testinden yararlanılmıştır. Ayrıca sporcuların bireysel kaygı puanı ile yaşları arasında pozitif yönde düşük düzeyde anlamlı ilişki bulunurken, sosyal kaygı puanı arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmamıştır. Sporcuların yeni tip koronavirüse yakalanma kaygısı ile cinsiyet arasında anlamlı farklılık saptanmamıştır. Takım ve bireysel branşlarda aktif spor yapan sporcuların yeni tip koronavirüse yakalanma kaygısının benzer düzeyde olduğu, branşa göre anlamlı farklılık göstermediği belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre araştırmaya katılan sporcuların kaygı düzeylerinin orta seviyede olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

As in every part of society, the appearance of new types of coronavirus cases in the sports community can increase the worries of catching the new type of coronavirus by athletes. According to this study, the purpose of the study is to study the new type of coronavirus of athletes in different branches. The research in the Nicel model involved 424 athletes (222 women, 202 men) from different sports branches. In the study, Iron and Cicioğlu and Ilhan (2020) were developed by the new type of coronavirus athletes used anxiety measurement. The analysis of the data was used by Spearman's correlation analysis and Mann-Whitney U Test. In addition, there was no meaningful relationship between the athletes’ individual anxiety score and their age at a low level in a positive direction, while there was no meaningful relationship between the social anxiety score. The new type of coronavirus of athletes has not found a significant difference between anxiety and gender. Athletes who do active sports in teams and individual branches have been determined that the new type of coronavirus has a similar level of anxiety, not significantly different from the branche. The results found that athletes who participated in the study were at an average level of anxiety.
