Abstract:

Abstract The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between ethical climate, job satisfaction and turnover intention. In this context, it has been investigated whether the ethical climate has an effect on job satisfaction and turnover intention, and whether job satisfaction has an effect on turnover intention. The data were collected online using the questionnaire technique. The questionnaires were applied to a total of 430 hotel employees working in Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, İstanbul, İzmir and Muğla between 09 June 2020 and 30 July 2020. As a result of the research, it was determined that ethical climate had a statistically significant positive effect on job satisfaction, and ethical climate and job satisfaction had a negative statistically significant effect on turnover intention. Finally, some suggestions were developed in the light of the research findings. The research is important in terms of its contribution to the literature and business life, as it examines the relationship between ethical climate, job satisfaction and turnover intention in hotels.
