Abstract:

It is located in the Inner Anadolu Region, one of the southern districts of Konya, the Bozkır district is located in the Mediterranean Region. The population has been constantly decreasing since the year 2000. The number of neighborhoods of a district that immigrates to the outside, the nature of which he is established in the geographical sense of importance. Many factors play a role in the dispersion of the population. By detailing the relationship between the population and the rise, this district has been selected as a field of research. This study was conducted in order to reveal the impact of the rise, which is one of the topographic parameters, on the distribution of the population. Geographical Information Systems and the Data of the Turkish Statistical Authority in this study found the distribution of the settlement units in the Bozkır district according to the elevated stages. There are 52 districts (49 rural districts) in the state of the municipality of Konya. The conclusion was that permanent settlement units showed distribution in the range of 1,100 - 1,700 m. At 1,700 meters of height there are plants. The range of 1,100 - 1,200 m covers 70 km2 of the area, with a population of 8,545 people from 2019. It is the highest number of people in the world who have the highest number of people. The range of 1,600 - 1,700 m is 32 km2 and has 793 people. It has been seen that the number of settlements has decreased and the population has decreased due to this.
