Abstract:

When we study the ancient Turkish culture and accordingly the system of beliefs, today we are also facing a number of objects and practices that we can sometimes name between the Siberian region Turks as the word, the fal and the name of oracity. In this article we will try to stand on these and what the meanings are expressed. However, in the Altay, Tuva, Hakas, Saha and general Siberian geography, we see the kames, sometimes in a shape, call the special spirits or objects they put in "tös" (tös), "yekil" or "emeget".

Abstract:

When we investigate ancient Turkish culture and belief system, we sometimes encounter some objects and practises called “Töz”, fortunetelling (Fal) and “Yadacılık” even today in Siberia. In this paper, we have tried to dwell on these and what they mean. In addition to this, in Altai, Tuva, Khakass Sakha and general Siberia geography, we sometimes see that shamans name special souls and objects, which they shape, as “tös-töz”, “iyekil” and “emeget”.
