Bu araştırma okul yöneticilerinin liderlik stillerinin öğretmenlerin örgütsel bağlılık ve örgütsel güven düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin görüşlerinin cinsiyet, medeni durum ve mesleki kıdem değişkenleri açısından anlamlı farklılık gösterip göstermediği belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu kapsamda araştırma modeli olarak ilişkisel tarama modeli tercih edilmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini Malatya ilinde görev yapan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi ise evrenden basit seçkisiz örneklem yöntemi kullanılarak toplam 351 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplamak için Okul Müdürleri Liderlik Stilleri, Öğretmenler için Örgütsel Bağlılık Ölçeği ve Öğretmenlerin Örgütsel Güven Algıları Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Toplanan veriler üzerinden betimsel istatistikler yapılmıştır. Öğretmen algılarının toplandığı bu çalışmada dönüşümcü liderlik uygulamaları, serbest bırakıcı liderlik uygulamaları ve sürdürümcü liderlik uygulamalarının orta düzeyde sergiledikleri, öğretmenlerin okula bağlılık algı düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu, öğretmenlerin meslektaşlara güven algı düzeyinin oldukça yüksek, öğrenci ve velilere güven algı düzeyi ile okul müdürüne güven algı düzeyinin ise orta düzeyde olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışmada okul yöneticilerinin dönüşümcü liderlik stilleri ile öğretmenlerin örgütsel bağlılık düzeylerinin pozitif yönde ve orta düzeyde olduğu, okul yöneticilerinin serbest bırakıcı ve sürdürümcü liderlik stilleri ile öğretmenlerin örgütsel bağlılığının ise pozitif yönlü ve düşük düzeyde ilişkili olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları göz önüne alındığında okul yöneticilerinin yaşanılan değişimlere liderlik etmeleri ile destekleyici davranış ve uygulamaları öğretmenlerin okula güven duyma düzeyini ve bağlılıklarını artırabilir. Bunu yanında okul yöneticilerinin meslektaşlar arası güveni artırmaya ilişkin davranış ve uygulamaları da öğretmenlerin bağlılığını önemli düzeyde artırabilir. Okul yöneticilerinin meslektaşlar arası işbirliğini destekleyen uygulamaları öğretmenler arası güvenin olmasında etkili olabilir.
This research was carried out with the aim of studying the relationship between teachers’ organizational commitment and organizational confidence levels of school managers’ leadership styles. It has been tried to determine whether the opinions of teachers show significant differences in terms of gender, civil status and professional age variables. In this context, a relative scanning model is preferred as a research model. The universe of research is formed by teachers who work in the province of Malatya. The sample of the study consisted of a total of 351 teachers using a simple, unselective sample method from the universe. School managers have used leadership styles, the scale of organizational commitment for teachers and the scale of teachers’ organizational trust perceptions to collect data. The data collected statistics are made. In this study, where teachers’ perceptions are gathered, they showed the transformative leadership practices, the liberating leadership practices and the sustainable leadership practices at the middle level, the teachers’ level of commitment to the school is high, the teachers’ level of confidence to their colleagues is quite high, the level of confidence to students and guardians and the level of confidence to the school manager is medium. The study found that the transformative leadership styles of school managers and the level of organizational commitment of teachers are in the positive and middle direction, the liberating and sustainable leadership styles of school managers and the organizational commitment of teachers are in the positive and low level. Given the findings of the research, supporting behaviors and practices by leading school managers to the changes that they experience can increase the level of trust and commitment of teachers to the school. In addition, the behaviors and practices of school managers about increasing confidence among colleagues can also significantly increase the commitment of teachers. The practices of school managers that support co-working between colleagues can be effective in having confidence between teachers.
