Bu çalışmanın temel amacı Kastamonu Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi Bankacılık ve Finans Bölümü’nde lisans düzeyinde muhasebe ve finans eğitimi alan öğrencilerin muhasebe mesleğine bakış açılarının ve mesleğe yönelme eğilimlerinin ortaya konulmasıdır. Araştırma kapsamında ihtiyaç duyulan verilerin toplanması için anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Söz konusu anket, 262 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS paket programında Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Mann-Whitney U ve Kruskal-Wallis H testleri ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda öğrencilerin muhasebe mesleğine bakış açılarının, demografik özelliklerine göre istatistiki açıdan anlamlı farklılıklar gösterdiği ve öğrencilerin muhasebe alanında çalışma eğilimlerinin yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
The main purpose of this study is to reveal the perspective towards the accounting profession and tendency to choose the occupation of the students, who are studying accounting and finance at the undergraduate level at the Kastamonu University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Banking and Finance Department. The survey technique was used to collect the data needed within the scope of the research. The survey was applied to 262 students. The data obtained were analyzed using Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis H tests through the SPSS package program. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the students' perspective on the accounting profession differed statistically significantly according to their demographic characteristics, also the students' tendency to work in the field of accounting was high.
