Son yıllarda hizmet sektörü içinde popüler hale gelen sağlık turizminin özellikle ekonomik açıdan önemi gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Sağlık hizmeti alma ihtiyacı bireylerin sürekli değişen istek ve ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda şekillenmekte ve teknolojik ilerlemelerle birlikte değişim göstermektedir. Gelişmekte olan ülkelerden biri olan Türkiye’de sağlık turizmi, gelişim halindeki bir sektördür. Bu kapsamda çalışmanın amacı, sağlık hizmeti almak için Erzurum’a gelen Nahcivan uyruklu vatandaşların sağlık hizmeti talebini etkileyen faktörlerin araştırılmasıdır. Araştırmada kullanılan anketin yapıldığı dönem itibariyle Erzurum’a sağlık hizmeti almak için bireylerin yaklaşık %34’ü ilk kez, %37’si 2-4 kez ve %30’u ise 5 kez ve daha fazla gelmiştir. Çalışma, sağlık hizmeti talep sıklığını ve bu sıklığı etkileyen faktörlerin sıralı lojistik regresyon analiziyle araştırılmasına dayanmaktadır. Tahmin edilen model sonuçlarına göre yaş, iş durumu, gelir, Erzurum’daki sağlık kurumlarının tercih edilmesi, sağlık hizmetlerinin fiyatı, başvuru ve kayıt işlemlerinde geçen süre, doktor ve hemşire hizmetleri, konaklama ve hastane ücreti, Erzurum’daki sağlık hizmetlerinin ülke, kültür ve dil yakınlığı nedeniyle tercih edilmesi değişkenlerinin sağlık hizmeti talebi üzerinde etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The importance of health tourism, which has become popular in the service sector in recent years, especially economically, is increasing day by day. The need to receive health care is shaped according to the individual’s constantly changing desires and needs and is changing with technological advances. Health tourism in Turkey, one of the developing countries, is a developing sector. The objective of this study is to investigate the factors that affect the demand for health care of the Nahcivan citizens who come to Erzurum to get health care. As of the period in which the survey was conducted, about 34% of individuals came to Erzurum for the first time, 37% 2-4 times and 30% 5 times or more. The study is based on the study of the frequency of health care demand and the factors affecting this frequency by a sequential logistical regression analysis. According to the forecast model results; age, work status, income, preference of health institutions in Erzurum, the price of health services, the time spent in the application and registration processes, medical and nursing services, accommodation and hospital fees, preference of health services in Erzurum due to the country, culture and language proximity, the variables have been determined to have an impact on the demand for health services.
