Abstract:

Abstract The purpose of this study is Hz. Prophet's (s.a.s) understanding of effective teaching skills by comparing it with current educational practices and the 2023 Education Vision. The data for this purpose were collected through document review from Kütüb-i Tis‘a, Teaching Profession General Competencies and 2023 Education Vision sources. Descriptive analysis method was used in the analysis of the obtained data. In the study, according to the descriptive analysis stages, professional traits and personality traits themes and codes under these themes were created; the identified sources were examined within the framework of these themes and codes; the accessed data are defined by supporting with direct quotations; the data obtained were interpreted in accordance with their original form. In the study, it was concluded that Hz. Prophet's (s.a.s) understanding of paying attention to individual differences, using science and technology, adopting a human-centered approach, using time effectively, being fair, having effective communication skills and being empathetic had similar characteristics with the understanding of the current practices and the 2023 Education Vision. At the end of the study, in order for teachers to have effective teaching qualities and to have a better quality of education, various suggestions have been made for teachers such as organizing in-service trainings for teachers that include the hadiths of Hz. Prophet (s.a.s) on education, teachers should be smiling and use measured humor in order to conquer the hearts in education. Keywords: Hz.
