“Engellemek, alıkoymak, sağlam yapmak” gibi anlamlara gelen hikmet kelimesi pek çok manayı içinde barındırmaktadır. Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’de on dokuz âyette yirmi defa geçen hikmet kelimesi de farklı anlamlarda kullanılmıştır. Dolayısıyla müfessirler de kavramı farklı yönleriyle izah etmiş, genellikle “nübüvvet, sünnet, ilim, amel, anlayış, hüküm, delil” anlamında yorumlamışlardır. Sûfî müfessirler ise âyetlerdeki hikmet kavramını “nübüvvet, sünnet, ilim, amel, anlayış, ledünnî ilim, mârifet, sözde ve amelde isabet etmek, güzel ahlâk, hüküm, kesin delil” şeklinde açıklamışlardır. Görüldüğü üzere âlimler, hikmetin anlamları konusunda çoğunlukla hemfikirdir. Ancak sûfî müfessirler hikmetin nazarî yönünü kabul etmekle birlikte daha çok amelî yönüne vurgu yapmışlar, hikmetin kesinlikle arınıp amel etmekle elde edilen bir bilgi olduğunu söyleyerek bu konudaki müktesebâtı zenginleştirmişlerdir. Çalışmada âyetlerdeki hikmet kelimesinin işârî yorumu, müfessirlerin görüşleriyle kıyaslanarak değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuçları maddeler halinde ortaya konulmuş ve hikmet kavramı, pek çok manasıyla izah edilmiş, ama bütün manaları kapsayan anlamının ilim olduğu belirtilmiştir. Bu bilgi aşamalı bir bilgidir. Kişi Hakk’ın kendisine bahşettiği hikmet bilgisine eriştiğinde söz ve amelde isabet eder, güzel ahlaklı olur, olayların iç yüzünü bildiği için adaletle hükmeder.
The Notion of al-hikma (The Wisdom), which means "to prevent, to withhold, to make solid", accomodates a multitude of significations. Likewise, mentioned twenty times in nineteen verses of the Holy Quran, the word of hikma conveys different meanings. Therefore, the commentators Have considered and explained the concept in a variety of aspects, generally interpreting it as “prophethood, the sunnah, knowledge, deed, insight, judgment, proof.” On the other hand, Sufi commentators have explained the concept of hikma in the verses as “the prophethood, the sunnah, the knowledge, the deed, the insight, the knowledge because of God’s blessing, the mystique, be true in word and deed, good morality, judgment, proof positive.” As can be seen, scholars mostly agree on the meanings of hikma. However, while the sufi commentators accepted the theoretical aspect of hikma, they put more emphasis more on its practical side, and enriched the acquis by stating that wisdom is definitely a knowledge obtained by purifying and acting. In the study, ishari interpretation of the concept hikma in the verses has been discussed by comparing it with the views of the commentators. The results of the study have been specified and the concept of hikma with a number of meaning has been explained. It has been stated that the knowledge is the meaning all-encompassing.This knowledge is a gradual knowledge. When a person reaches the knowledge of Hikma bestowed upon him by Allah, he becomes true in Word and deed, becomes moral and becomes sound and fair in his judgements as he has the gain the insight to look beneath the surface.
