Abstract:

In the technological age called Industry 4.0, digital devices that have become an integral part of our lives create a new culture. In this age where things are connected to global networks, people are meeting their needs with digital technologies, the high-tech technologies developed in this field are being demanded and spread. Companies that want to move forward to the digital age are investing in digital-social-mobile information technologies, re-forming their organizational structures. This transformation in all sectors and sectors also shows itself in printing technologies. Digital printing technologies, which competed with printing speed and quality and traditional printing techniques in their first days, have become part of the global digital ecosystem today. With the consciousness of being a digitalized company, the press companies investing in this field are re-examining traditional business processes, developing flexible, value-adding, productive strategies, and focusing on faster and more efficient production. This study focuses primarily on the historic development of traditional printing techniques. With the emergence of digital printing technologies, it points to the developments in printing techniques and the differences between traditional methods. By studying the impact of global digital transformation on the printing sector, the new generation of consumer behaviors within the digital ecosystem are reflected in the sector.
