Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the mediation role of social problem-solving skills in the relationship between the therapeutic alliance that psychological consultants and consultants establish and personality characteristics. Research in which the relational scan model is used, the University's guidance and psychological counseling bachelor's section 4. At least 1 of the class students have done psychological consultations and supervised 458 psychological consultants. As a tool for data collection in the study, the therapeutic Alliance Scale was used: Psychological Advisory Form, Personality Scale (SKDT), Social Problem Solving Reserve - Short Form (SPÇE-KF). For the analysis of the hypothesis test model, the AMOS program was used and the relationships between the variables were studied by way analysis. As a result of the route analysis for the test, the model was found to have good compatibility values (CFI =.98, IFI =.98, NFI .97, TLI .94, GFI .98 and AGFI .95 χ2 / sd 1.37, RMSEA .07) The findings have shown that the five factors of personality characteristics of the candidates for psychological consultants; that neuroscience, externality and responsibility significantly influence the psychological consultant candidates’ therapeutic alliance skills; that the ability to solve social problems has a strong intermediate role between the personality characteristics and the therapeutic alliance. The findings have been discussed with the accumulation of knowledge in the field and have been presented in various recommendations for further research.
