Kastamonu’da yirmi sene müftülük yapmış olan Ceceli Müftü İbrahim Efendi 18. yüzyılda yaşamış, dinî nitelikte manzûm ve mensûr eserleri olan bir şahsiyettir. Müellifin üç manzûm ve üç mensûr eseri mevcuttur. Ancak bu şahsiyet hakkında şuara tezkirelerinde herhangi bir bilgi yoktur. Bu sebeple Ceceli Müftü İbrahim Efendi’nin ve eserlerinin tanıtılması, klasik Türk edebiyatı sahası için önemlidir. Yine klasik Türk edebiyatı dönemi içerisinde dinî nitelikli birçok eser manzûm olarak tercüme ve telif edilmiştir. Bu türlerden biri de manzûm olarak kaleme alınan esmâ-i hüsnâlardır. Ceceli Müftü İbrahim Efendi’nin hayatı ve eserleri ile beraber, 29 beyitlik esmâ-i hüsnâsı da bu türe örnek olması bakımından makalede tanıtılmıştır.

The introduction of Ceceli Müftü İbrahim Efendi and his works is important for the field of Classical Turkish literature for this reason. During the period of Classical Turkish Literature, many religious verses were translated and copyrighted as verse. One of these types is esmâ-i hüsnâ, which is written as verse. The life and works of Ceceli Müftü İbrahim Efendi and 29 couplets of esmâ-i hüsnâ were introduced in this article as an example to this genre.
