Abstract:

In the past, the qadies - muslim judges-  whose duties and responsibilities were fairly large, with a sacred role, had been the subject of criticism with their faults as well. This case, somehow has reflected on literary texts and they have been criticized more due to their wrong decisions. Especially in a great part of jokes that have been told about Nsreddin Hodja Hodja himself, standing in front of qadi, criticized him for his wrongs, and sometimes taking over the task , he emphasized how a qadi shouldact. The image of qadi which is also frequently seen in various types of folk literature has taken its place in public's poetry. In their works, some folk poets have critisized qadies harshly due to their wrong attitudes and actions. Among these, we can give as an example of Dertli's epigram '' where does the devil take part in this '' and the poem of Pir Sultan Abdal '' Do you have faith in any relegion? '' And Father Sitki , in his qadi epic, consisting of song verse 45, sung in word after the ryhme, criticizes the qadi of Karaman( a district in Konya) with a heavy tongue. In this study, the '' qadi '' image in the literature- especially in folk literature texts-Fther Sidki's '' qadi '' epic word after the ryhme will be examined after how it involved in this.
