Teknolojinin hayatın tüm alanlarında sağladığı olanaklar, eğitim dünyasında da kendine yer bulmuştur. Pamukkale Üniversitesi’nde diğer üniversitelerde olduğu gibi dijital ortam ve platformlar pandemi öncesinde kullanılagelmiştir. Bununla birlikte, pandeminin derslerin bir süre tamamen uzaktan verilmesine neden olması nedeniyle eğitimde dijital dönüşüm ihtiyacı beklenmedik şekilde üst seviyelere çıkmıştır. Bu çalışmada eğitimde dijital dönüşüm kapsamında Pamukkale Üniversitesi öğretim elemanlarının eğitimde dijital dönüşüm algıları, üniversitenin yazılım-donanım ve İnternet altyapısı, destek hizmetleri konusundaki yeterlilikleri ile öğretim elemanlarının dijital eğitim-öğretime ilişkin kuramsal ve teknik yeterlilik algıları nitel ve nicel veriler toplanarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmaya toplam 329 öğretim elemanı katılmıştır. Veriler çevrimiçi olarak anketler yoluyla toplanmıştır. Bu verilerin analizi doğrultusunda öğretim elemanlarının eğitimde dijital dönüşüme yönelik olumlu yaklaştıkları, bu dönüşümün ve geleceğin eğitiminde dijitalleşmenin kaçınılmaz olduğu, öğrenci merkezli bir eğitim sağladığı gibi ifadelerin ön öne çıktığı görülmüştür. Bunun yanında öğretim elemanlarının büyük bölümünün eğitimde dijital dönüşümü uzaktan eğitim ile ilişkilendirdiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Öğretim elemanları dijital ders materyali hazırlama, öğrenme yönetim sistemi ve canlı ders sistemi kullanımı gibi konularda kendilerini yeterli hissetmektedirler denebilir. Ancak etkileşimli ders materyali hazırlama ve eğitim destek sisteminin farklı bileşenlerini kullanma noktasında desteğe ihtiyaç duydukları görülmüştür.
The possibilities that technology provides in all areas of life have also found its place in the world of education. As in other universities at Pamukkale University, digital environments and platforms have been used before the pandemic. However, the need for digital transformation in education has suddenly risen to the highest levels because the pandemic has led to a period of time the courses are given completely from a distance. In this study, in the context of digital transformation in education, Pamukkale University teachers' perceptions of digital transformation in education, the university's software-hardware and Internet infrastructure, the competences in support services and the theoretical and technical competences of teachers' perceptions of digital education-education were analyzed by collecting qualitative and quantitative data. The study included a total of 329 teachers. The data is collected online through surveys. According to the analysis of these data, it has been shown that teachers have a positive approach to the digital transformation in education, that this transformation and the digitalization in the education of the future are inevitable, that it provides a student-centered education. In addition, it has been revealed that the majority of teachers associate digital transformation in education with distance learning. Teachers can be said they feel sufficient in topics such as the preparation of digital curriculum materials, the learning management system and the use of the live curriculum system. However, it has been seen that they need support in the preparation of interactive curriculum materials and the use of the different components of the training support system.
