So many results that aren't mine?

Beden Eğitimi Öğretmen Adaylarının Benlik Saygısı Düzeylerinin Farklı Değişkenler Açısından İncelenmesi

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen adaylarının benlik saygısı düzeylerinin belirlenmesi ve cinsiyet, sporla ilgilenme değişkenleri açısından incelenmesidir. Araştırma grubunu, toplam 453 öğretmen adayı oluşturmuştur (Myaş=21.75±2.06). Veri toplama aracı olarak Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizlerinde, tek yönlü varyans analizi ve bağımsız guruplarda aritmetik ortalamalar arası farkı belirlemeye yönelik t-testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda beden eğitimi ve spor faaliyetlerinin birçok alanda olduğu gibi, benlik saygısı üzerinde de pozitif etkisi olduğu, faaliyetler içerisinde bulunma düzeylerinin, benlik saygısı düzeyleri üzerinde etkili olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

Abstract:

The study aims to determine self-esteem levels of teacher candidates and to examine that in terms of gender and being interested in sport variables. Study group is comprised by 453 teacher candidates consist of 232(51%) female and 221 (49%) male (Xage=21.75±2.06). Self-Esteem Scale is applied to the students as a data collection tool. In data analysis, one-way variance analysis and t-test for determining difference between arithmetic averages in independent groups are applied. According to the findings; generally the self-esteem level of the teacher candidates were found to be high. As a result of research, it is concluded that physical education and sport activities have positive effect on self-esteem as well as on many fields; and the level of taking part in activities has effect on self-esteem levels
