Abstract:

The need to follow the technological developments, the importance of pursuing the latest pedagogically and technologically developments that facilitate learning and keep them in mind, have made radical decisions on education and teaching inevitable. On the other hand, these changes have only forced students to change their skills in the teaching profession that has not affected their teaching process. The objective of the study in this context is to determine the levels of teaching candidates (PFESPÖA) studying in the Pedagogical Training Training Certificate Program (PFESP), the Technological Pedagogical Field Knowledge (TPAB) and the relationships between these levels and their attitudes towards technology and technological perceptions. The study was carried out with a relative scanning design, which is one of the quantum research patterns. The research work group; in the spring semester of the 2017-2018 Education-Teaching Year, the University of Fiskesir Necatibey School of Education formed 34 teachers candidates registered in the PFESP Mathematics teaching. The data of the study; "Technological Pedagogical Field Knowledge Self-Evaluation Scale (TPABÖ)" developed by Bear and others, "Technological Attitude Scale (TTÖ)" developed by Yavuz for the purpose of evaluating the attitudes against the use of technological tools in educational activities and "Technological Perception Scale (TAÖ)" developed by Tınmaz for the purpose of determining the levels of technological perception. According to the results obtained from data analysis, TPAB levels are linked to high-level technological perceptions and high-level positive attitudes to the technology. It is understood that the contribution of the two independent variables is meaningful and that the variables that are able to contribute to the TPAB are significant. From here, the move can be said that their perceptions of technology and attitudes towards technology are important for teachers to be able to use technology, education and field knowledge together in their professional lives.
