Abstract:

Excellence is the state of being recognized in general for its superior performance compared to its peers. While the research that studies the needs of highly talented children in the field in the summer is not frequently included, the study is generally focused on the needs and problem situations in social emotional fields. The results of some studies show that considering the experiences of superior talented individuals with the environment, there is a relationship between intelligence and excessive sensitivity, and that this relationship will increase the sensitivity as intelligence increases. Even the difficulties and skills these children experience may differ from other children because they have a neurological system that perceives and reacts differently to the environment. Although this performance status is generally associated with school success, the superiority in the cognitive fields, the best determination of these children’s development stories and differences will also enable the formation of the future guidance needs. Therefore, in this compilation work, the definition of superior intelligence is included in the sensual sensitivities of superior intelligence children and the needs of sensual integration. After that, the information on the sensual integration disorders (DBB) of superior-talent children was referred to.
