Bu araştırmada, okul müdürlerinin liderlik davranışları ile öğretmenlerin psikolojik sermayeleri arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni Ankara’nın dokuz ilçesindeki kamu okullarında görevli 13,580 ilkokul öğretmeni ve 15,165 ortaokul öğretmeni olmak üzere 28,745 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi tabakalı örneklem yoluyla seçilmiş 361 ilkokul ve 370 ortaokul öğretmeni olmak üzere toplam 731 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama araçları olarak, “Psikolojik Sermaye Ölçeği,” and “Leadership Practices Inventory”’nin Türkçe’ye uyarlanan “Liderlik Uygulamaları Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, katılımcıların demografik özelliklerinden cinsiyet, okul türü ve kıdem değişkenlerinin öğretmenlerin okul müdürlerinin liderlik davranışlarına ilişkin algılarında anlamlı farklılıklar yaratmaktadır. Aynı değişkenlere göre, öğretmenlerin psikolojik sermaye düzeyleri de anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşmaktadır. Öğretmenlerin psikolojik sermayelerine ilişkin algıları, en düşük mizah en yüksek ise bilgelik boyutunda gerçekleşmiştir. Regresyon analizinde, okul müdürlerinin liderlik davranışlarının öğretmenlerin psikolojik sermayelerine ilişkin algılarının anlamlı bir yordayıcısı olduğu belirlenmiştir.
This study aims to determine the relationship between school managers’ leadership behaviors and teachers’ psychological capital. The universe of the research consists of 28,745 teachers, including 13,580 primary school teachers and 15,165 secondary school teachers, who are employed in the public schools in the nine districts of Ankara. The sample of the study consists of a total of 731 teachers, including 361 primary school teachers and 370 secondary school teachers, selected through a layer sample. As data collection tools, the "Psychological Capital Scale," and "Leadership Practices Inventory" used the "Leadership Applications Scale" adapted to the Turkish language. According to the research results, the demographic characteristics of the participants make significant differences in the perceptions of gender, school type and senior variables about the leadership behavior of the teachers of the school directors. According to the same variables, the psychological capital levels of teachers are also significantly different. Teachers' perceptions of psychological capital, the lowest humour, the highest, occurred in the dimension of wisdom. Regression analysis has found that school managers’ leadership behaviors are a meaningful contributor to teachers’ perceptions of their psychological capital.
