So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

2022
Author:
Abstract:

The motifs, which are derived from the symbols used to carry information, communicate and convey ideas throughout the ages, and reflect the knowledge brought from the past to every field of art, form the basis of the art branch known as Traditional Turkish Arts. Carpet art, which is one of the leading branches in the history of traditional Turkish Art, has survived from Central Asia to the present day, with examples of weaving with rich motifs, colors and compositions similar to those seen in Ayvacık, Çanakkale, North West Anatolia. Geometric, plant and animal motifs are used in Ayvacık carpets, which originates from the Caucasus. Today, these motifs have lost their symbolic meaning and names and are named by weavers by analogy with contemporary objects. Gold Plate, Baratlı, Lighter, Wheel Sieve, Kilim Patterned, Turnalı, Ayvacık carpets are the floor compositions that give their names. These motifs, which have been transferred to the present day as a rich heritage, are used in contemporary ceramic forms as well as in contemporary carpet patterns. In this context, by examining the literature studies in which carpet and ceramic arts are blended; It is aimed to carry out a multidisciplinary study in which Ayvacık carpet motifs and original ceramic techniques are used together.
