Ütopya, gerçek hayatın akışında yolunda gitmeyen birtakım durumlara bir alternatiftir. Ütopya, eşitsizlik, adaletsizlik kavramlarına bir tepki olarak ortaya çıkar. Kaçış, ütopyanın en önemli belirleyici özelliğidir. Sığınılacak bir yer olarak görülen ütopya birçok şair ve yazarın da eserlerine konu olmuştur. Tevfik Fikret, Servet-i Fünûn döneminin en önemli şairlerindendir. Fikret’in şiirlerinde devrin baskıcı ortamından dolayı karamsar bir tablo hakimdir. Bu karamsarlık onun mizacına da yansımıştır. Servet-i Fünun ekolünün de belirleyici özelliği karamsarlık ve santimantalizmdir. Bütün bu sebeplere bağlı olarak Tevfik Fikret’in şiirlerinde karamsarlıktan kaçış ve bir sığınma ihtiyacı göze çarpar. Devrinde hak ettiği değeri görmeyip köşesine çekilen bir şair olan Tevfik Fikret, bu zorunlu uzletin sıkıntısını şiirlerine yansıtır. Karamsar atmosferden kurtulup hayali ve aydınlık bir dünyaya kaçar. Bu kaçış düşüncesi Tevfik Fikret’in şiirlerinin en önemli belirleyici temalarındandır. Rübab-ı Şikeste eserinde bu temanın ağırlık kazandığı pek çok şiire rastlanır. Ütopik bir beldeye sığınma ihtiyacı şairi, devrin karamsar atmosferinden uzaklaştırır.
Utopia is an alternative to a number of situations that do not go on the way in the current life. Utopia appears as a response to the concepts of inequality, injustice. Escape is the most important determining feature of utopia. The utopia, which is seen as a refuge, has also been the subject of many poets and writers’ works. It is one of the greatest poets of the time. In the poems of the thought, because of the repressive environment of the revolution, a shameful painting dominates. This humour has also reflected his humour. The determining characteristic of the wealth-i Fünun addiction is charism and santimantism. Depending on all these reasons, Tevfik Fikret’s poems encounter the need for escape and shelter. Tevfik Fikret, a poet who has not seen the value he deserves in his turn and is pulled to his corner, reflects the trouble of this compulsory length in his poems. He escapes from the atmosphere and escapes into a dream and bright world. This escape thought is one of the most important determining themes of the poems of Tevfik Fikret.
