Abstract:

14-15 yaş grubu, kimlik gelişiminin önemli olduğu dönemlerden biridir. Bireyler bu dönemde kendini gösterebilmek için kitle iletişim araçlarının etkisiyle popüler olarak nitelendirilen kişiler ya da fikirlerle kendilerini özdeşleştirirler. Değerlerine sahip çıkabilen bir nesil yetişmesi ve kimlik gelişiminin doğru bir şekilde tamamlanabilmesi için onlara özdeşleşebilecekleri, rol model olacak güçlü karakterlerin anlatılması önem arz etmektedir. Bu bağlamdan hareketle araştırmada, ergenlik döneminin başında olan çocukların değerler açısından rol model olan şahsiyetlerin hayatlarını öğrenmeleri ve kendilerini bu şahsiyetlerle özdeşleştirmelerinin mümkün olup olmadığı Hz. Muhammed (sav) örneği ile araştırılmıştır. Bu nedenle değer eğitiminde örnek bir kişilik olarak Hz. Muhammed’in  (sav) karşılaştığı problemler karşısında nasıl davranışlar sergilediğine ilişkin ortaokul 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin düzeyine uygun, 8 etkinlik geliştirilmiştir. Çalışma 3 hafta boyunca, 8. sınıfa geçen, 23 öğrenciyle yürütülmüştür. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden eylem araştırması deseniyle yürütülen çalışmada veriler; görüşme, doküman ve araştırmacının katılımcı gözlemleriyle elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ile incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda çocukların yaşadıkları sorunlar karşında sergiledikleri barışçıl olmayan çözümlerin, Hz. Muhammed’in (sav) şahsiyeti bağlamında değerlendirildiğinde barışçıl çözümlere dönüştüğü tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca etkinliklerden sonra Hz. Muhammed (sav) için söylenen Allah’ın kulu, Müslümanlığı öğreten, Kuranı Kerim, peygamber gibi çağrışımlar; hoşgörü, cesaret, saygı, güvenilir olma, barışsever (uzlaşmacı) gibi pek çok değeri içeren söylemlere dönüşmüştür.

Abstract:

The age group of 14-15 is one of the periods in which identity development is important. Individuals identify themselves with people or ideas that are classified as popular by the influence of mass media to be able to show themselves during this period. It is important to raise a generation that can possess their values and to explain the powerful characters that they can identify and role model to be able to correctly complete identity development. In this context, the research is about whether children at the beginning of adolescence can learn their lives and identify themselves with these personalities as a role model in terms of values. Muhammad (Muhammad) is an example. Therefore, the value of the education as an example of personality Hz. 8 events have been developed in accordance with the level of high school 8th grade students on how Muhammad (sav) shows behavior in the face of the problems he encountered. The study was conducted for 3 weeks, with 23 students passing to 8th class. Qualitative research methods in the study conducted by action research pattern; the data were obtained by interviews, documents and participating observations of the researcher. The data obtained was examined by content analysis. The results of the research show the unfair solutions that children face the problems they experience, Hz. When Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was assessed in the context of his personality, it was found that he turned into peaceful solutions. Even after the events. The calls of Allah, the servant of Muhammad, the teaching of Muslims, the Qur’an, the Qur’an, the Prophet, the tolerance, the courage, the respect, the trust, the peaceful (compromising) and the many values.

Identification In Values Education: The Case Of The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

Abstract:

In this study, it was investigated whether it is possible for children in early adolescence to  look up to, to learn from,  the lives of individuals who are role models in terms of values and whether they identify themselves with these personalities. So our research was based on the example of the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh). For this reason, 8 activities were developed in accordance with the  8th grade level students, these activities designed to show how The Prophet Muhammad as an epitome of  value education behave in the face of the problems. The study was carried out with 23 students in 8th grade for 3 weeks. Qualitative research methods is applied with a form of action research. The data were obtained through interviews, documents and participant observations. The data were analyzed by content analysis. The study found that, the non-peaceful solutions that the children exhibit previously in the face of the problems turned into peaceful solutions when it was evaluated in the context of Muhammad's personality. Also after these activities, connotations  of concepts like; the servant of God, teaching Islam, the Holy Quran, and Prophet Muhammad was evolved into discourses such as tolerance, courage, respect, trustworthiness, and peace-loving.
