Abstract:

The aim of this research is to analyze the graduate theses on "life learning" between 2000 and 2020 based on various variables. For this purpose, 141 undergraduate theses in Turkey were achieved in relation to "life learning" until June 2020. Of the 141 theses found that 23 theses not in the field of education and 1 unavailable thesis were not included in the study, the total of 117 theses were examined. The study used the content analysis technique and the theses years, patterns, sampling characteristics, data collection tools, data analysis techniques, etc. It has been analyzed according to many variables. In the presentation of the findings obtained in the study, it was used by visual statistics such as frequency and percentage. According to the study, the first thesis was published in 2007 and continued to increase in 2014 and later. The studies conducted in this field have mostly been established as non-experimental quantitative studies at the master level, in the type of research/examination. The sample type of research was found to be composed of bachelor students and teachers, and their sizes varied between 301 and 1000. The result is that the data collection tools are mostly liquid-type scales, and their analyses are made by scratching and imaging analysis. Finally, for the reliability of the studies, Cronbach Alfa also took advantage of the expert opinion and factor analysis for its validity. In accordance with the results obtained, more detailed interdisciplinary studies at the doctoral level, with high validity and reliability, which are conducted with a mixed research design on lifelong learning, can be recommended.
