Abstract:

Investors’ decisions are affected by many factors, the most important of which are the accounting standards on the basis of which the financial statements and reports are prepared. Financial reporting standards lead to the expression of the financial statements vocabulary about the reality of the financial position and financial performance of the establishments, and then achieve the accounting quality. It also leads to the availability of information transparently to the various users of the financial statements without the need Adjustments that require special expertise to make to obtain the required information and thus lead to a reduction in the phenomenon of information asymmetry and increase the accuracy of financial analysts’ forecasts. All of this is an indicator of the quality of the information environment of the facility.
