Araştırmada etkili psikolojik danışman niteliklerinin, psikolojik danışman öz yetkinliğinin cinsiyetin, kıdemin, öğrenim düzeyinin, üniversite eğitiminde yapılan bireysel ve grupla psikolojik danışma oturum sayısının ve bireysel ve grupla psikolojik danışma için süpervizyon almanın, psikolojik danışmanların bilişsel esnekliklerini anlamlı bir biçimde yordayıp yordamadığı incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 521 psikolojik danışman oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada gerekli verileri elde etmek için geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları yapılmış olan “Etkili Psikolojik Danışman Niteliklerini Değerlendirme Ölçeği”, “Psikolojik Danışman Öz Yetkinlik Ölçeği”, “Bilişsel Esneklik Envanteri” ve “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde Doğrusal Regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, etkili psikolojik danışman niteliklerinin, psikolojik danışman öz yetkinliğinin, kıdemin, öğrenim düzeyinin, bireysel ve grupla psikolojik danışma oturum sayısının psikolojik danışmanların bilişsel esnekliklerini anlamlı düzeyde yordadığı bulunmuştur. Ancak, araştırmanın sonucunda, cinsiyetin, bireysel ve grupla psikolojik danışma için süpervizyon alıp almamanın psikolojik danışmanların bilişsel esnekliklerini anlamlı düzeyde yordamadığı bulunmuştur.
This study was investigated whether effective counselor characteristics, counselor self-efficacy, gender, seniority, educational level, number of individual and group counseling sessions in university education and supervision for individual and group counseling significantly predict cognitive flexibility of counselors. The sample of the study consisted of 521 counselors. Effective Counselor Characteristics Scale, "Counselor Self-Efficacy Scale", "Cognitive Flexibility Inventory" and "Personal Information Form" were employed to collect the study data. Linear Regression analysis was used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, it was found that effective counselor characteristics, counselor self-efficacy, seniority, educational level, number of individual and group counseling sessions significantly predicted the cognitive flexibility of counselors. However, as a result of the research, it was found that whether or not to take supervision for individual counseling and group counseling, and gender did not significantly predict the cognitive flexibility of counselors.
