Bu araştırmanın amacı, okul öncesi 5-6 yaş çocukların duygusal zekâ ve sosyal becerileri ile annelerinin sosyal becerileri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırmada kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme ve kotalı örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen142 kız 142 erkek olmak üzere 284 çocuk ve bu çocukların anneleri çalışma grubunu oluşturmuştur. Verileri toplamak amacıyla Okul Öncesi Sosyal Beceri Envanteri (OSBED), Sullivan Okul Öncesi Duygusal Zekâ Ölçeği (S-ÇDZÖ) ve Yetişkin Sosyal Beceri Envanteri (SOBE) kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Pearson Korelasyon katsayısından yararlanılmıştır. Annelerin SOBE puanıyla çocukların S-ÇDZÖ Yüzler alt boyut puanları arasında pozitif yönlü bir ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir. Annelerin SOBE puanıyla çocukların OSBED Akademik Destek Becerileri, Arkadaşlık Becerileri ve toplam puanları arasında pozitif yönlü bir ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir. Annelerin sosyal becerileri arttıkça çocukların yüzlerdeki duyguları anlamada ve sosyal becerilerinde artış olduğu saptanmıştır.
The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between the emotional intelligence and social skills of children aged 5-6 before school and the social skills of their mothers. The study identified 142 girls, including 142 men, and 284 children and the mothers of these children, the study group. For the purpose of collecting data, the Pre-School Social Skills Inventory (OSBED), the Sullivan Pre-School Emotional Intelligence Scale (S-CDZÖ) and the Adult Social Skills Inventory (SOBE) were used. The analysis of the data is based on the Pearson correlation ratio. The mother's SOBE score and the child's S-CHDZÖ faces have been determined to have a positive relationship between the subdimensional points. The SOBE score of the mothers has been determined to have a positive relationship between the children’s OSBED Academic Support Skills, Friendship Skills and their total score. As the social skills of the mothers increase, the children understand the emotions in their faces and their social skills are increased.
