Abstract:

The sheriff records are an important source in the detection of the administrative, political, military, judicial, social, economic, and cultural structure of the Ottoman State. The documents contained in the sheriff registers in the Ottoman State are the procurement-selling, borrowing, vasi, lawyer appointment, donation, kidnapping, marriage, divorce, foundation records, food and goods prices, tax-related records ensure the obtaining of many information about the political, economic, cultural, administrative, and political structure of the Ottoman State. Also the ferman, berat, orders and orders sent from the center illuminate the important points in the records. The army's needs in time, the details of the accommodation, such as the sher'i to the records contain remarkable details. This study was introduced to the 8th Monastery Sher by examining the documents between the 65-120 possessions of the register. After the registration information was provided, the documents contained in the registration between the 65-120 assets were sorted and the documents were summarized.
