Abstract:

Objectives: The aim of this study is adaptation, validity and reliability study of the Fauville etc. (2021) zoom exhaustion & fatigue questionnaire into Turkish. Methods: After the Turkish-English translation and back translation process was completed, it was applied to a sample group of 150 people in order to examine the psychometric properties of the Turkish translation, whose language validity was provided. The normality test of the subscale and total scores obtained as a result of the reliability and validity analysis of the scale was examined with the coefficients of skewness and kurtosis. The confidence interval in the analyzes was determined as 95% (significance level 0.05 p <0.05). Results: According to the validity and reliability findings, it was determined that the factor load of 15 items in the scale was higher than 0.40, and the t values of the item factor loads were statistically significant (p <0.05). According to the composite reliability and validity results, it was determined that the scale met the necessary conditions. The Cronbach Alpha coefficient of the scale is 0.94; Cronbach Alpha coefficients of the sub-dimensions are between 0.85 and 0.94 and the item-total correlation is above 0.30 (between 0.51 and 0.82) for all items. According to the validity and reliability analysis findings of the Zoom Fatigue Scale, it was determined that the scale is a valid and reliable scale with its structure consisting of 5 dimensions and 15 items. Originality: This is the first study on Zoom Fatigue that has been translated into Turkish and its validity and reliability study has been conducted.
