This study was carried out to determine the injury status of the football players playing in the women's super league according to their positions. A total of 151 athletes (age 22.08±3.81 years) playing in the Turkish Women's Football Super League voluntarily participated in the study. The research was designed with a scanning model as it aims to detect the current situation. A questionnaire prepared by the researchers related to the subject was applied to the athletes. It was determined that 110 of the 151 athletes participating in the study were injured, and 41 football players were not injured. It was determined that defenders (n:49) were injured more than other position players. It has been determined that sprain (n: 16) is the most common type of injury. It has been determined that the most time for football players to return to sports after injury is more than 6 weeks (n: 21), and injuries occur most often during competition (n: 31). It has been determined that the ankle/foot region (n:18) is the body region where the injuries are most common and the injuries mostly occur as a result of collisions with the opponent player (n:12) and opponent player blows (n:12). In order to minimize injuries, special exercise programs for these intended for regions can be included. In addition, education programs can be organized to increase the awareness of trainers and athletes on the subject.
