Abstract:

Abstract:

As a result of the expansion of the Islamic geography, the non-Arabic communities met with the Islamic religion brought a number of problems. Among these problems, the fear of misunderstanding of the Qur’an is the main. The existence of many rivies that show that the errors of the language resulting from not judging the Arabic to the verses also confirms this. As a result, since the second half of the first century, the activities related to the language continued uninterruptedly. These activities include studies that deal with the Quran's shelter, the explanation and vocation of the words in the verses, the inner integrity of the phrases and the philological assessments. These studies, along with the creation of the Arabic grammar and the appearance of some grammar ecoles, continued more systematically until the end of the fourth century, often using the titles "Ma'âni'l-ur'ân" and "I'râbü'l-ur'ân". In the words of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There is 207/822. In the aforementioned work, Ferrâ’s many individual assessments are found during his logical (philological) assessments, which can be an example of the language-cultural relationship in particular in terms of the morphemy of the words and their multi-sensitivity. After his various opinions presented around some verses, it can also be considered to be placed in the semantic assessments that are accepted even in a way in the Arab society, and that the inspectors should use the culture of the period to prevent an interpretation outside of what is often understood with the power verses. In this regard, it is important to keep the knowledge of the Qur’an and the disciplines that will be applied to the interpretation and evaluation of some of the verses in order to be able to understand the messages that the Qur’an is presented to mankind in the most accurate way. In this article, along with Ferrâ’s own assessments, the analysis of the other universes in which he puts his views will be pointed out on the findings that can only be an example of the language-cultural relationship and the role of culture and language interaction in the interpretation of the verses.

Abstract:

As a result of the expansion of the Islamic geography, the acquaintance of non-Arab communities with the religion of Islam brought some problems with it. Among these problems, the concern of misunderstanding the Quran is at the top. The existence of many rumors showing that language mistakes caused by not being able to master Arabic are spread to the verses confirms this. Therefore, activities related to language have continued uninterruptedly since the second half of the first century of Hijri Calendar. Among these activities, there are studies dealing with the style of the Quran, the evidence and pronunciation of the words in the verses, the inner integrity of the sentences and their philological analysis. These studies, along with the creation of Arabic grammar and the emergence of some grammar schools, continued more systematically until the end of the fourth century of Hijri Calendar, using the titles "Ma'âni'l-Qur'ân" and "I'râbu'l-Qur'ân. There is also Yahyâ b. Ziyâd al-Farrâ (d. 207/822) among the scholars who wrote works using the title "Ma‘âni'l-Ḳur'ân". In the mentioned work, many individual evaluations of Ferrâ during the lugavî (philological) analyzes, which can be an example of the language-culture relationship, especially in the direction of the siyga (morpheme) and polymorphism of words, are encountered. His emphasis on semantic analyzes, which are accepted by Arab society even in a certain way, after giving place to various opinions displayed around some verses, can also be evaluated as that the commentators should benefit from the culture of the period in order to prevent an interpretation other than the intended verses with incomprehensible verses. In this respect, it is important to keep a wide range of scientific authorities and disciplines to be applied when interpreting and evaluating some verses in order to understand the messages offered by the Quran to humanity in the most accurate way. Consequently, in this article, Ferrâ's specific analyzes and his views, as well as the analysis of other scholars, will focus only on the determinations that can be an example of the language-culture relationship, and the role of culture and language interaction in verse interpretation will be pointed out.
