Abstract:

The association activities in the Ottoman State appeared parallel to the change and transformation that began with the Tanzimat period. and II. After the announcement of Legacy, various associations were established in the province of Trabzon, where a very active period of social and cultural activity occurred. In this process in which the Alliance and Terakki Community is active, some of these associations that offer diversity from social and cultural clubs to professional organizations, from aid communities to sports clubs are operating as branches of Istanbul-based communities, while some are also established in a special way. In the years of the Balkan Wars and World War I, the aid associations that supported the general center with the donations they gathered, organized in the worst crashes and disasters, requested the support of the people. Social and cultural associations were organizations that added vitality and movement in this area. Some of the associations were directed to certain professional groups and aimed at professional solidarity. In this work II.
