Öğrenme-öğretme ve değerlendirme sürecinde en çok başvurulan kaynaklardan biri de ders kitaplarıdır. Ders kitapları hazırlanırken müfredat çerçevesinde, eğitim ve öğretimi etkili kılacak şekilde hazırlanması temel şarttır. Bu araştırmada 9. Sınıf Kimya I ders kitabının içerik yönünden değerlendirilmesi amacıyla 20 sorudan oluşan “öğretmen değerlendirme anket formu” hazırlanmıştır. Bu anket formu Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’na MEB bağlı devlet okullarında görev yapan 31 kimya öğretmeni ile özel dershanelerde görev yapan 19 kimya öğretmenine uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar, kimya öğretmenlerine göre Kimya I ders kitabında uygulamaya yönelik eksiklikler ve aksaklıklar olduğuna işaret etmektedir.
Textbooks are one of the most consulted sources in the processes of teaching- learning and assessment. It is indispensable to prepare textbooks in accordance with the curriculum to ensure effective teaching and learning. “Teacher evaluation questionnaire” consisting of 20 questions has been prepared to evaluate secondary level IXth class chemistry textbook in terms of its content. This questionnaire was carried out with 31 secondary level chemistry teachers who work in the public schools and 19 chemistry teachers who work in the private courses. According to the results obtained, chemistry teachers think that there are some deficiencies and obstacles in the application of this textbook
