Abstract:

As one of the most important areas of the service sector in tourism is the focus of the work life is man, it is assumed that situations such as organizational communication, working conditions, prepared presence, self-realization have an impact on the psychological well-being of individuals. But there is another question that the psychological well-being conditions are not changing according to the area studied. The purpose of the work in this direction is to predict whether the psychological well-being conditions of the staff working in the tourism sector differ according to the area studied. In this context, a total of 759 employees working in the selected tourism enterprises in the coast (Alanya) and urban hospitality (Ankara) have been collected data through the survey form. According to the research findings, the levels of psychological well-being of the staff working in the city hospitality are higher, while the demographic factors such as gender and status have also concluded that psychological well-being does not cause any differences.
