Abstract:

In this study 6. The purpose of the Class Social Information Course is to determine the impact of the use of activity-based teaching on the students' environmental reading levels. 6 . The study, which was conducted in order to reveal the impact of the use of activity-based teaching on the students' environmental reading levels, used the "pre-test-sontest control group semi-experimental pattern" model from the experimental pattern types. According to the study, both in the experimental group where the activity-based teaching is applied and in the control group where the teaching and activities included in the current program are applied, the students have an upward direction between the Environmental Information pre-test and final-test scores. Comparisons between groups showed that students in the experiment and control group did not show a significant difference in the environmental information test scores between the experiment and control groups. However, comparisons between the groups related to the Environmental Sensory Scale and the Environmental Behavior Scale showed that the experimental group was more successful than the control group.
