Abstract:

This study aims to expose their views on what values students are given in the course of the course, in accordance with the opinions of class teacher candidates who will be directly influential in the formation of their views on the environment in which they live and in the provision of values that are part of life. This research is a qualitative study designed according to the situation study pattern from the research patterns. The research study group consists of 99 class teachers candidates studying in the third and fourth classes of a state university during the spring period of the 2017-2018 educational-educational year. The study group has been determined without the use of sample. This research was also taken as a measure in the selection of class teacher candidates from third and fourth classes, as well as that teachers candidates were often taught many lessons such as social information teaching, school experience and teaching practice, as well as voluntarily participating in the research. In the study, the opinions of the teachers candidates regarding the values they want to be included in the curriculum are determined by a semi-configured interview form. The data obtained from open-end questions addressed to participants were solved by the content analysis method. The research findings have found that class teacher candidates want special participation in the lesson and the values they accept are the most "patriotic" values and "independent" values, respectively. The teachers’ candidates have also achieved the values of “Justice” and “Justice”. In addition, the values of “responsibility”, “volunteer” and “esthetic” are the least accepted values. These data will be provided with recommendations to the institutions and organizations related to the movement.
