Bu çalışmanın amacı, fen öğretimine yönelik tutum, inanç ve fen aktivitelerini kullanma durumları ölçeğinin Türkçeye uyarlamasının yapılarak okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin fene yönelik tutumlarının, inançlarının ve fen aktivitelerini kullanma durumlarının cinsiyete, yaş gruplarına, öğrenim durumlarına, kıdem durumlarına, görev yaptıkları okul türüne, sınıflarında bulunan çocuk sayılarına ve sınıflarında bulunan çocukların yaş gruplarına göre belirlenmesini sağlamaktır. Bu doğrultuda ölçek uyarlama çalışması yapılmış ve ölçek Doğu ve Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi’nde farklı illerde görev yapan okul öncesi öğretmenlerine (N=291) uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin açımlayıcı faktör analizi ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda ölçeğin dört faktörlü bir yapısının olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde ayrıca Mann-Whitney U ve Kruskal Wallis testleri kullanılmıştır. Okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin fen öğretimine karşı tutum, inanç ve aktiviteleri kullanma durumu ölçeğinden almış oldukları puanların ortalamalarının ölçekten alınabilecek puan göz önünde bulundurulduğunda iyi düzeyde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin ölçeğin her bir alt boyutundan elde edilen puanlarda cinsiyete, yaş gruplarına, eğitim düzeylerine, kıdem durumlarına, görev yaptıkları okul türüne, sınıflarında bulunan çocuk sayılarına ve sınıflarında bulunan çocukların yaş gruplarına göre anlamlı farklılık olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to ensure that the scale of the attitudes, beliefs and conditions of use of science activities towards teaching is adapted to the Turkish language and that the attitudes, beliefs and conditions of use of science activities of pre-school teachers are determined according to gender, age groups, educational conditions, senior conditions, the type of school in which they work, the number of children in their classes and the age groups of children in their classes. In this direction, the scale adaptation work has been done and the scale has been applied to pre-school teachers (N=291) who work in different provinces in the East and Southeast Anadolu Region. The scale has been analyzed and verifying factor analysis. The analysis has found that the scale has a four-factor structure. The analysis of the data also used Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis tests. The conclusion has been achieved that the average scores they obtained from the scale of attitude, beliefs and activities of pre-school teachers against the teaching of science are at a good level when taken into account the scale of the scale. In addition, the conclusion was that the scores obtained by pre-school teachers from each subdimensional scale differ significantly according to gender, age groups, educational levels, senior status, the type of school in which they work, the number of children in their classes and the age groups of children in their classes.
