Abstract:

The poets have reflected the characteristics of their time in their works. When we look at these works, we find interesting information about the food and drinking culture of the time. We can study the beverages in the cottage as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in two groups. There are no alcoholic beverages mentioned at the beginning. Sweaters are alcoholic beverages sweetened with honey or sugar. Age and dry fruits, spices, plants, honey and sugar can be benefited in shrimp making. Sherbett, its sweet and relaxing form, its use in the field of health, has prepared the ground for positive dreams for the poets. But the fact that some of the shrubs used in the field of health are painful, is also associated with negative concepts with the characteristics of toxins sometimes mixed with shrubs. The Divan poets have compared the lovers' lips, mouth, face and hands to sherbet. It was imagined as a sherbet by raw poets formed on the flowers in the morning. In addition to the concrete concepts, the abstract concepts are also imagined as sherbet. Positive concepts such as encounter, love, love, conscience, conversation, mercy, mercy, peace, wave, generosity or justice are compared to charity with sweet arrivals. At the same time, negative concepts such as separation, death, ecel, time and regret are treated as a painful sherbet. There are many traditions in the Turkish culture. In the celebrations of the worship, in the visits to the lohusa or in the Ramadan tables, the sherbet is awarded. Today, some of the traditions of the forgotten sherbet have also been found in the Divans. The influence of the sherbet on our language is used in the words. Therefore, the words that passed in the divans as "to give sherbet according to the nausea" were also examined by examples.
