Ülkelerin özellikle ekonomi, siyaset, kültür, sağlık, toplumsal ve sosyal hayat gibi birçok konuda birbirini etkileme süreci olarak tanımlanan küreselleşme, sağlıkla doğrudan ilişkilidir ve yeme alışkanlıklarını da etkileyerek yaşam biçimini değiştirmektedir. Fast food, insanları kısa sürede memnun etmesinden dolayı modern kültürün önemli bir sembolü haline gelmiştir. Tüketilen yiyeceklerin çoğunluğunu hamburger çeşitleri, patates kızartması, kızarmış tavuk, döner, pizza, soğuk sandviç vb. oluşturmaktadır. Beslenme açısından, fast food yüksek miktarda sodyum, şeker, kolesterol ve yağ (özellikle doymuş yağ) içerir, ancak A ve C vitaminleri ve diyet lifi içeriği düşüktür. Ev dışında tüketilen yiyecekler kalori alımını artırarak kilo fazlalığı riski oluşturur. Küreselleşmenin insan yaşamı üzerindeki olumsuz etkisine tepki olarak bazı yerel gruplar tarafından ortaya çıkarılan Slow Food (Yavaş Yemek) Hareketi, iyi gıda, temiz gıda, adil gıda ilkeleri ile hareket etmektedir. Sağlıklı beslenme toplumun tüm kesimleri için önemlidir ve sağlıklı olmak için sağlıklı beslenmek gerekir. Bu çalışmada küreselleşmeyle artan fast food tüketim eğilimi ve küreselleşmeye karşı gelişen slow-food hareketi irdelenmiştir.

Globalization, which is defined as a process of influencing each other in many matters, especially in the economy, politics, culture, health, social and social life, is directly related to health and changes lifestyle by influencing eating habits. Fast food has become an important symbol of modern culture because it makes people happy in a short time. Most of the foods consumed are hamburger varieties, potato fried, frozen chicken, turner, pizza, cold sandwich, etc. It creates. In terms of nutrition, fast foods contain high amounts of sodium, sugar, cholesterol and fat (especially saturated fat), but the vitamin A and C and diet fatty content are low. Food consumed outside the home increases the calorie intake and creates the risk of overweight. The Slow Food Movement, which was revealed by some local groups as a response to the negative effects of globalization on human life, is operating with the principles of good food, clean food, and fair food. Healthy nutrition is important for all sections of society and it is necessary to eat healthy to be healthy. This study has focused on the increasing trend of fast food consumption with globalization and the slow-food movement against globalization.

The majority of foods consumed are hamburger types, French fries, fried chicken, doner, pizza, cold sandwiches and so forth. In terms of nutrition, fast food includes high amounts of sodium, sugar, cholesterol and fat (especially saturated fat) but low in vitamins A and C and dietary fiber content. Consuming food outdoors increases calorie intake and creates a risk of overweight. In response to the negative impact of globalization on human life, social movements emerged by some local groups as Slow Food movement. Slow Food defends the philosophy of good, clean and fair nutrition. Healthy nutrition is important for all segments of the society. To be healthy you need to eat healthy. In this study, the trend of fast food consumption which is increasing with globalization and the slow-food movement against globalization are examined.
