Toprak askerler ya da Terracotta ordusu, ilk Çin imparatoru Qin Shi Huang’ın mezarında bulunan heykellerdir. M.Ö. 210’da yapılmış olan bu heykeller, 1974’te Çin Halk Cumhuriyeti’nin Shaanxi eyaletine bağlı Xian yakınlarında bir çiftçi tarafından bulunmuştur. Terracotta ordusu tam anlamıyla savaşa hazır bir ordu gibidir. 70 savaşçıdan oluşan 3 sıra öncü kıta, ellerinde ok ve yaylar sırtlarında ise ok çantalarına sahiptirler. Onları 40 sütun şeklinde piyadeler, süvariler ve her biri dört atla çekilen savaş arabaları takip etmektedir. Cesur savaşçıların düzenleri ve küheylan şeklinde atlar ülkeyi tek ülke olarak birleştiren Çin hanedanlığının başarısını yansıtmaktadır. Terracotta Savaşçıları ve atlarının keşfi, 20. yüzyılın en önemli arkeolojik buluntusu olarak kabul edilmektedir. Her bir askerin eli, ayağı, kilosu, boyu ve yüzü farklıdır. Bu yüzden bu heykellerin gerçek ordunun bir kopyası olduğu düşünülmektedir. Müzede toplam yedi binin üzerinde heykel yer almakta ve kazılar hala devam etmektedir.

Land soldiers or the Terracotta Army are the statues found in the tomb of the first Chinese Emperor Qin Shi Huang. by M. These sculptures, made in 210, were found in 1974 by a farmer near Xian in the province of Shaanxi, the People's Republic of China. The Terracotta army is literally like an army ready for war. Three rows of 70 fighters have the front continent, with the arms and the arms on their back with the arms and the arms on their back. They are followed by pedestrians, cavaliers, and war cars drawn with four horses each. The orders of brave warriors and the horses in the shape of the cave reflect the success of the Chinese dynasty that united the country as a single country. The soil soldiers or another name of them which is known as Terra Cotta army exist in the first Chinese emperor Qin Shi Huang’s grave. These sculptures were made in 210 B.C and a Chinese farmer found these in the state of Shaanxi, close to Xian in China, at the year of 1974. This Terra Cotta army looks exactly like the mood in stand by for the war. 70 warriors occur 3 initial troops of the army. They bear bows and arrows, back of them also they wear munition bags which they mirror us the realism. Follow them, there are 40 cavalry men, soldiers and the chariots which stands on with 4 horses per each. Under the whole this layout, we faces out the brave soldiers, steeds and the success of Chinese dynasty. The discovery of terra cotta warriors and horses is one of the biggest invention in 20th century. All of these soldiers are completely different from each other. The weights, lengths, faces, hands and legs look like a real army in the real world. There are almost over 7000 scupltures in the museum and the excavation is also progressing today.
