Sınırları dahilinde bulunan yaşam alanlarındaki yeşil alan ile peyzaj ihtiyaçlarını karşılayarak yaşanabilir bir çevre oluşturmayı, onu muhafaza etmeyi ve geliştirmeyi esas almaktadır. Yaşam kalitesi yüksek bir kent için faaliyet göstermektedir.1950 sonrasında, kırsal kesimden kentlere başlayan iç göç ile şehirli nüfus artmıştır. Şehirli nüfus Türkiye'de o zamana kadar pek hissedilmeyen bir takım ihtiyaçları ve problemleri ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bu süreçte, tarih araştırmacısı iktisat ile çevreye hakim bir halde konuyu ele alarak yerel yönetimlerin kültürel hizmetlerini zenginleştiren bir görev üstlenebilir. Hızlı kentleşme, insan kaynaklı çevre kirliliğine ve doğal kaynakların tahribatına sebep oldu. Konuya tarih bilimi açısından yaklaşmak sağlıklı kentleşmeye, kentin sahiplenilmesine, sürdürülebilir ve yaşanabilir bir çevrenin inşasına katkı sağlayacaktır.
The city administration is left to the responsibility and control of the municipalities. It is based on the creation, preservation and development of a viable environment by meeting the landscape needs of the living areas within its boundaries. The quality of life is active for a high city.After 1950, the urban population has increased with domestic immigration starting from rural sector to cities. The urban population in Turkey has revealed a number of needs and problems that have not been felt so much until then. During this process, the historian researcher can take on a task of enriching the cultural services of local governments by addressing the subject while dominating the economy and the environment. The rapid urbanization has caused environmental pollution from humans and natural resources damage. The approach to the subject from the point of view of history science will contribute to a healthy urbanization, the possession of the city, the construction of a sustainable and viable environment.
The urban administration is left to the responsibility and control of the municipalities. It operates for a city with high quality of life.After 1950, the urban population started to increase with the internal migration from the rural areas to the cities. The urban population revealed a number of needs and problems that had not been felt in Turkey until then. During this procces, the historian can undertake a task that enriches the cultural services of local governments by taking into account this issue with full knowledge of economics and environment. It will contribute to the construction of a sustainable and livable environment, healthy urbanization, ownership of the city to approach the issue from the point of view of historical knowledge.
